Matthew Sabo, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon serving Western Pennsylvania through The Foot and Ankle Wellness Center of Western Pennsylvania. Matthew Sabo, DPM, founded the practice in 2007 and leads its care for patients across Butler, Mercer, and Armstrong Counties.
His clinical experience includes comprehensive foot and ankle care, advanced wound care, diabetic limb preservation, sprots medicine, surgical reconstruction, and emerging technologies in podiatric medicine. He helps patients with diabetic foot care, wound care, heel pain, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic foot conditions. He emphasizes patient education, individualized treatment plans, and helping patients return to activity and improve quality of life.
Dr. Matthew Sabo has 26 years of podiatry experience and has participated in 18 clinical research trials. His research background includes studies connected to wound care, advanced imaging, regenerative medicine, and emerging podiatric technologies. He has also contributed to professional publications and presentations on foot, ankle, and wound-related topics.
Dr. Sabo completed his podiatric medical education at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Previously, he earned a bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University through an accelerated pre-medicine program. He is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
